What you will do
Reporting to a Manager of Security Operations in Ottawa, you manage risks to the Bank of Canada's information, personnel, visitors and physical assets by countering threats with appropriate protective safeguards through your physical presence as an armed security officer.

As the front of house, first line of security defense, you ensure the security and safety of the Bank, its staff and assets. You observe the behavior of persons entering the Bank of Canada or its property and investigate and defuse any threats or risks. You activate alarms and inform the Control Room and Manager in cases of emergency or the presence of unauthorized persons.
