Part-time Family Therapist (Female)

Minwaashin Lodge is seeking a part-time Family Therapist with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline, with training and experience in family therapy, art therapy, play therapy child and/or other related therapeutic approaches. We will also consider applications from individuals with relevant undergraduate or post- graduate education with significant professional experience. The part-time Family Therapist is responsible for the development and facilitation of a 9 week family therapy group First Nations, Metis and Inuit families, with four cycles offered per year, to support clients of Minwaashin Lodge and Oshki Kizis Lodge, using contemporary and traditional healing practices, as well as providing family therapy to individual families. This position is part of the Counseling Team and reports directly to the Manager, Counseling Services. Experience working within a VAW context and/or with Indigenous community members is a significant asset.
